Smart City Lübeck is a case study exploring the possibilities and technologies that enable the city to digitize and connect its internal processes efficiently. In partnership with Smart City Lübeck, easy.bi developed a custom web application for data visualization, helping city officials leverage data to enhance urban management and decision-making.

One of the key challenges facing Smart City Lübeck was the need for a simple and effective way to visualize existing city data. With a growing volume of demographic, traffic, location, and sensor data, city officials required a platform that could integrate and display this information in an intuitive and meaningful way.

Our contribution

To address this challenge, easy.bi developed a solution that evaluates demographic, traffic, and location data while incorporating city-specific sensor data. These datasets were connected through a data lake using FIWARE and CKAN, ensuring meaningful linkage and contextualization. The data was then visualized using a Drupal-based content management system, supported by advanced data visualization frameworks.
