STORE ROOM GmbH is a modern self-storage provider looking to digitize and fully automate their operations to provide a seamless experience for their customers. easy.bi partnered with STORE ROOM GmbH to develop a comprehensive maintenance management app that automates the entire inventory management process and enables smart self-storage capabilities. Our solution integrates ERP systems, allowing for online rental and management, delivering a seamless digital experience for both customers and operators.
Our contribution
easy.bi collaborated closely with STORE ROOM GmbH to create an advanced maintenance management application for their self-storage operations. The application handles the complete organization of inventory management, automating processes such as storage access, maintenance, and customer interactions. The eCommerce solution integrates with ERP systems, enabling customers to rent storage units online and manage their rentals digitally.
To connect Android and iOS mobile applications with the web application management system, we developed a full-featured API as the platform's backbone. This API integration ensures smooth communication between the mobile apps and the web platform, enhancing the user experience and enabling fully automated processes.
Our solution used PHP and Symfony for the back-end, OroCommerce for the eCommerce functionality, Sensorberg Cloud for managing IoT devices, Kubernetes for container orchestration, and Angular with Ionic for the front-end. MySQL was used for data storage, while agile development was facilitated using Jira and Confluence. BitBucket and later GitLab CI/CD pipelines were used to streamline version control and deployment.

From the beginning, we worked closely with STORE ROOM's stakeholders, including operations teams and IT leads, to understand their challenges and requirements.
