Optimizing DevOps for Football Data Analytics

Our contribution

easy.bi collaborated closely with Impect GmbH to provide DevOps consulting tailored to their unique needs. Impect's operations involve handling Kubernetes clusters, extensive data, large databases, and numerous files - all essential to processing and offering football data for analytics. These aspects presented various challenges, including scaling the infrastructure, operationalizing DevOps processes, and optimizing system performance.

Our support included helping Impect scale their operations, ensuring efficient backup practices, and monitoring their systems to ensure continuous functionality. We worked on optimizing data storage and database speeds, making sure their infrastructure was capable of handling the extensive data loads required for football match analysis.

Additionally, Impect decided to migrate from one service provider to another to reduce costs. We assisted them throughout this transition, from designing the initial architecture to selecting the right provider and implementing the migration. We also provided guidance on backup and monitoring strategies to ensure data security and system stability.

Technologies used include Kubernetes for container orchestration, advanced cloud infrastructure for hosting, and monitoring tools to provide insights into system performance. By leveraging these technologies, we ensured that Impect’s infrastructure remained scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
